| DIRECTIONS FOR
USE: Adults and Children 12 years
and older: Take 2 tablets fully dissolved in 4 ounces of water (use more or less
water to taste). Repeat every 4 hours, not to exceed 8 tablets in any 24-hour period or as
directed by a doctor. Children under 12 years of age: consult a doctor. You don’t
have to drink the residue on the sides or bottom of the glass. All the medicines are in
the water. INDICATIONS: Provides temporary relief of these major symptoms of colds and flu with cough: runny nose, nasal and sinus congestion, headache, body aches and pains, sore throat, sneezing, and fever.
INACTIVE INGREDIENTS: Aspartame, Citric Acid, Flavor, Sodium Bicarbonate, Tableting Aids.

WARNING: Children and teenagers should not use this
medicine for chicken pox or flu symptoms before a doctor is consulted about Reye syndrome,
a rare but serious illness reported to be associated with aspirin. Do not take this
product for more than 7 days or for fever for more than 3 days unless directed by a
doctor. If symptoms, including pain or fever, persist, do not improve or get worse, if new
symptoms occur, or if redness or swelling is present, consult a doctor because these could
be signs of a serious condition. If sore throat is severe, persists for more than 2 days,
is accompanied or followed by fever, rash, headache, nausea or vomiting, consult a
doctor promptly. A persistent cough may be a sign of a serious condition. If cough
persists for more than 1 week, tends to recur, or is accompanied by fever, rash or
persistent headache, consult a doctor. Do not take this product for persistent or chronic
cough such as occurs with smoking, asthma, emphysema, or if cough is accompanied by
excessive phlegm (mucus) unless directed by a doctor. Do not exceed recommended dosage.
If nervousness, dizziness or sleeplessness occur, discontinue use and consult a
doctor. May cause excitability especially in children. Do not take this product if you are
allergic to aspirin, have asthma, have a breathing problem such as emphysema or chronic
bronchitis, glaucoma, heart disease, high blood pressure, thyroid disease, diabetes,
stomach problems that persist or recur, ulcers or bleeding problems, or difficulty in
urination due to enlargement of the prostate gland or are on a sodium restricted diet
unless directed by a doctor. Each tablet contains 507 mg of sodium. If ringing in the ears
or loss of hearing occurs, consult a doctor before taking any more of this product. May
cause marked drowsiness; alcohol, sedatives and tranquilizers may increase the drowsiness
effect. Avoid alcoholic beverages while taking this product. Do not take this product if
you are taking sedatives or tranquilizers without first consulting your doctor. Use
caution when driving a motor vehicle or operating machinery. Keep this and all drugs out
of the reach of children. In case of accidental overdose, seek professional assistance or
contact a poison control center immediately. As with any drug, if you are pregnant or
nursing a baby, seek the advice of a health professional before using this product. IT IS ESPECIALLY IMPORTANT NOT TO USE ASPIRIN DURING THE LAST 3 MONTHS OF PREGNANCY UNLESS SPECIFICALLY DIRECTED TO DO SO BY A DOCTOR BECAUSE IT MAY CAUSE PROBLEMS IN THE UNBORN CHILD OR COMPLICATIONS DURING DELIVERY. DRUG INTERACTION PRECAUTION: Do not take this product if you are presently taking a prescription drug for anticoagulation (thinning the blood), diabetes, gout or arthritis unless directed by a doctor. Do not use this product if you are now taking a prescription monoamine oxidase inhibitor (MAOI) (certain drugs for depression, psychiatric or emotional conditions, or Parkinson’s disease), or for 2 weeks after stopping the MAOI. If you are uncertain whether your prescription drug contains an MAOI, consult a health professional before taking this product. PHENYLKETONURICS: Contains Phenylalanine 11 mg per tablet. |
